I start from a state of nothing in my head and suddenly create a picture by moving my hands in an improvisational manner. I'm not drawing a specific object, so I don't know what I'm drawing. As I continue to draw, groping in the dark, an image begins to form. I draw while having a dialogue with myself (the artist within me). I will never be able to meet the artist inside me at that time again, so I will never be able to draw the same picture twice. A painting is truly a unique entity. No matter what kind of work it is, it will be a piece of self-expression at that time. If I draw too much, it will become a lifeless picture with a preordained harmony, I try not to draw too much. I cherish the writing of that moment. This can result in a rough, scratchy touch. I draw my thoughts and emotions at that time in a single stroke. This is an art that cannot be realized unless I draw it directly on paper with my own hands. This is a method of expression that is distinct from computer-mediated drawings. It is an expression that emphasizes the process of painting, and the real time is engraved in the painting. A photograph is an expression of a moment in reality, and there is something close to that. A calligrapher puts his soul into each stroke, and a samurai puts his life on the line with a single stroke of his sword. Because he realizes that every moment he sacrifices his life is an expression of human life. The time he has lived until then is condensed into that moment. If he is unsure, he will not be able to draw a realistic line. By painting without thinking, the life at that time will be reflected in the painting.
