English follows Japanese 私達がどんな時だって、毎日休むことなく動いていてくれている自然。 私達が生活の中で言葉で表現できない部分。 偉大で神秘的な見えないものや、私達の見えない部分に私は興味があります。 そういった存在は、感じたり察すること(気がつかないことも多い)でしか分からないけれど、 確実に存在しています。 私はその存在をヴィジュアル化して表現したいと思って作品を作っています。 毎日の生活の中で、どんなに忙しくても泣いていてもイライラしていても、ふと作品を目にした時、 心の平和や安らぎの感覚を感じてもらえるような存在になれたら嬉しいと思っています。 No matter how we are doing / feeling, nature is always there for us, providing everything we need to live unconditionally. I am always fascinated by the spiritual energy that surrounds us all. Also I am curious how humans can actually communicate with each other and all the other living things without a physical connection or presence. Such energy that we can only feel or sense (or sometimes we don't notice it at all) is always in us and we are part of the energy. I love being part of that and I want to visually express the energy through my art. I hope my art can give you a sense of peace, a sense of unity in everyday life. English follows Japanese こんにちは、サヨです。 作品は1つ1つ全て大切にアナログで作っています。 幼少期より日本と様々な国に触れて生活をしてきた影響により、自由なスタイルでアートワークを 制作しています。 大学を卒業した後は絵を描くことから離れ、しばらくブランドのイメージやヴィジュアルを作る仕事を してきました。 毎日を忙しく過ごし、国内外を移動し続ける生活を送っていましたが、コロナ禍で そのルーティンが止まりました。 そして、ずっとまた描きたいと思っていた絵と再び向き合い始めました。 偉大で神秘的な見えないものに興味があり、私はその世界をヴィジュアルに起こして表現していきたいと思って作品を作っています。毎日の生活の中で、どんなに忙しくても泣いていてもイライラしていても、 ふと作品を目にした時、「心の平和」の感覚を感じてもらえるような存在になれたら嬉しいと思っています。 なので「SÀYO MORITA モリタサヨ 手描きアート」のNFTプロジェクトではデジタル上だけでなく、 実物作品も飾っていただけるフィジタル作品もご用意しています。 ぜひ見てみてください☺︎ ■プロフィール 東京生まれ。2歳から鉛筆と紙を持ち歩き、絵を描くことに没頭。 幼少期から絵画・工作・書道を学び数々のコンテストを受賞。 家族の影響で着物や日本文化、そして色々な国の方々に触れて育つ。 14歳の時にイギリスへ短期留学し、絵を描くことをアートと認識。 同じ頃、友人の紹介でファッションショーの舞台裏を見る機会があり、 アートや創作活動をしていきたいと意思が決まる。 イギリスでアートを学ぶべく17歳で単身イギリスへ移住。 ロンドン芸術大学セントラル・セイント・マーチンズ校のアート&デザイン/空間演出を専攻後、 グラフィックデザイン/イラストレーション学科を卒業。 卒業後はイギリス、フランス、アメリカ、日本で様々な会社のブランディングやヴィジュアル制作 を主にファッション、ビューティー、スポーツ分野で手掛ける。 ■主な受賞歴と展示歴 ・伊勢神宮宮内ご鎮座2000年奉祝記念奉納ジュニア伊勢の書展 <特選> ・グループ展 "What is love?" in ロンドン ・グループ展 ロンドン芸術大学セントラル・セイント・マーチンズ校 in ロンドン ・アートオリンピア2022 <入選> in 起雲閣 ・展示計画中2023/23年 SÀYO MORITA モリタサヨ @sayomoritas www.sayomorita.com Hello I'm Sáyo. I make all my artworks in analogue by hand, with love. I create art with free spirit, as I fortunately could grow up in a diverse cultural environment in Japan and some other countries. After graduating from the university, I concentrated on working in fashion; producing creative visuals and brand identities for many companies. I travelled around the world and also across Japan for work, but all that had to be stopped with the arrival of Covid-19. It wasn't all bad though, because I rediscovered my love and passion for pure art, and I decided to fully immerse myself in this true love. I had my pencil and paper with me all the time at age 2, I was fascinated by drawing pictures. I have studied art, crafts and Japanese calligraphy since an early age and I was awarded in many competitions My family introduced me to the world of Kimono and other wonderful Japanese traditions, as well as meeting inspirational people around the world. When I was 14, I travelled to attend a short English course in the UK. During this visit, I understood what I want to do in life is making art. Also having been backstage at a fashion show in Tokyo, it inspired me further to become an artist. I moved to the UK at age 17 to study Spatial Design at Central Saint Martins, UAL, and after that, studied and graduated at St. Martin's BA Graphic Design / Illustration course. Since graduating, I have been working on many exciting projects in the UK, France, America and Japan creating visuals and brand identities for the fashion, beauty and sports industries. ■Awards and exhibitions: ・Ise Grand Shrine 2000 years anniversary calligraphy competition - selected for the special award ・"What is Love?" group art exhibition, London ・Central Saint Martin's group exhibition, London ・Art Olympia 2022 in Kiunkaku, Atami, Japan in 2022. - nominated and selected for a prize ・A few exciting plans for exhibitions in 2023/2024.
