「スマホの向こう側」 Beyond the Smartphone Screen 通勤途中、待ち合わせの前、立ち止まった瞬間。 現代の都市には、スマートフォンの小さな画面に意識を向けた人々が静かに漂っている。 本作はスマホ上での粗描によって生まれた九人の人物スケッチである。 細部を削ぎ落とした線は、個人の特徴よりも「行為」そのものを浮かび上がらせる。読む人、見る人、歩く人、待つ人。それぞれが同じ装置を手にしながら、それぞれ異なる世界へ接続している。 不完全な線や余白は、都市の日常を切り取った瞬間の記録であり、完成された肖像ではなく、流れ続ける時間の断片である。 スマホの画面を見つめる人々を描きながら、私たちは何を見ていて、何を見落としているのかを静かに問いかける作品。 English Beyond the Smartphone Screen On the way to work, while waiting, or during a brief pause in the city, people quietly drift through their own digital worlds. Created as rapid sketches on a smartphone, this artwork presents nine figures connected by a common gesture: their attention directed toward a small screen. Minimal lines and unfinished forms emphasize action rather than identity, revealing a contemporary portrait of urban life. The empty spaces and spontaneous strokes preserve the immediacy of observation. These are not finished portraits, but fragments of passing moments—glimpses of people moving through time while remaining connected to unseen places. By depicting individuals absorbed in their devices, the work gently asks a question: while looking into our screens, what are we truly seeing, and what are we missing?
