アーティスト第一弾は、写真作家である古賀勇人氏です。
シンメトリーが特徴の構図で、吸い込まれるような神秘的な作品です。

1983年 熊本県生まれ
2007年 文化服装学院二部服装科卒業
2008年 文化学院美術科卒業
2018年 原田眞人監督脚本 映画「検察側の罪人」劇中に「World is not World」採用

写真で作品制作をする美術作家。
2004年文化服装学院へ入学。服飾造形、服飾史、ファッションデザインを学ぶ過程で、美術への関心が高まり2005年文化学院美術課入学。デッサン、油彩水彩、版画、立体造形、美術史等を学ぶ。絵画や服飾による作品制作を行う中でデジタルカメラとの出会いが契機となり写真撮影を始める。
同校でグラフィックソフトウエアを学び、画像を反転させ繋ぎ合わせる方法に出会った2005年からシンメトリーの作品を制作している。
「人が敬虔で切実な想いを具現化する時、シンメトリーの造形物を作るのは時代と地域を越えて世界共通であり、これは人間が持つ根源的な造形感覚である。」と語り、近年では、日本古来の自然崇拝の視点から都市と自然の繋がりを表現している。

さの

作家として生きる道を考えていた頃、銅版画ではプレス機の大きさ以上の作品が作れないこと、
また、銅版画のクオリティを維持しつつも、それ以上に、より自由な表現の可能性を模索していました。
試行錯誤の結果、銅版画をコラージュすることで大きさの制限から開放され、
同時に絵具で自由に描くことにより独自の世界観を創り出すことに挑戦しています。

•About Asuka Irie
When I was considering a career as an artist, I realized that copperplate prints could not produce works larger than the size of a press, and that I needed to find a way to create more freedom of expression.
I was also searching for the possibility of more freedom of expression than that, while still maintaining the quality of copperplate prints.
Through trial and error, I found that by collaging copperplate prints, I could free myself from the limitation of size, and at the same time, I could create my own works by drawing freely with paint.
At the same time, he challenges himself to create his own unique view of the world by painting freely with paints.
