  照屋勇賢の告知―森プロジェクトは、1999年に始まりました。使い捨てのショッピングバックやブランドのバッグの側面を丁寧に切り取り、木を製作し、袋を横にして覗き込むと、切り取られた小さく精巧な木が見えます。繊細で丁寧に切り取られた木は、違う角度からは異なる表情を見せます。 上からの光は、紙袋の底面に木漏れ日を作り出します。
　今回、この作品のデジタルツインを３Dモデルとして制作いたしました。小さくしてメタバースの部屋やギャラリーに置いても、メタバースの砂漠や海の上に大きくして置いて家のように使っ たり、中の木や手提げ紐の上に登って景色を眺めることもできるようになっています。この”告知ー森　デジタルツイン”作品は、照屋勇賢の初めてのNFTプロジェクトとなります。
　照屋はこれまで、グローバルな外食産業から高級ブランドまで、さまざまな紙袋を用いて告知―森シリーズの作品を制作してきました。この作品は、ニューヨークのグッゲンハイム美術館などにも所蔵されています。この制作は紙を木にもどす地道な作業でもあります。紙袋は、規模を拡大し続ける多国籍企業や資本主義そのもの、大量生産と大量消費を象徴しています。また、丁寧に形作られた木は、自然と、伐採されて消費された森、そして壊れやすい自然と生態系の表象といえるでしょう。地球の自然と生態系は、人類によってすでに破壊がすすんでおり、温暖化による気候変動は我々の生存を脅かすまでになっています。
　このデジタルツイン化は、照屋とユニットFIKAとの会話から始まりました。そしてSOU(FIKA) が"告知―森ティファニー" (2017)をモデルに、アーティストとのミーティングを重ね、新たに告知―森の3Dデジタル作品を共同制作いたしました。
告知ー森のシンプルで明快なコンセプトの重要性、喫緊度合いは、照屋が制作を始めた1999年より はるかに高まっています。私たちは、作品そして作品コンセプトが、このデジタルツインのプロジェクトにより少しでも多くの方に伝わり、メタバースで作品を体験していただけることを願ってやみません。

照屋勇賢＋FIKA（長谷川仁美、SOU ）

​照屋勇賢(てるや・ゆうけん)
沖縄県出身の美術家。ニューヨークとベルリン拠点。
ニューヨークのスクール・オブ・ビジュアル・アーツ修士課程修了。紙袋やトイレットペーパーの芯、モノポリーゲームなどの日常的な材料を用い、自然や沖縄の政治的問題をテーマにした作品を制作。これまで、上海ビエンナーレ、ポンピドゥーセンター、金沢２１世紀美術館、シドニービエンナーレ、グッゲンハイム美術館などで作品を発表。パブリックコレクションも、ニューヨーク近代美術館、大英博物館、グッゲンハイム美術館など多数。2023年11月沖縄県立美術館にて大規模な個展を予定。
FIKA
キュレーターの長谷川仁美と３DクリエイターのSOUによるユニットで、アーティストのNFT制作からディストリビューションまでサポート、コラボレーションしている。
長谷川は福岡と香港住まい、ウィーン応用美術大学、クロウ・アジアンアート美術館、ダラスコンテンポラリー（米国）などでキュレーション。ウィーン芸術アカデミーで博士号取得。SOUはシンガポールのMagesで３Dデザイン、マレーシアでVFXを学ぶ。福岡在住。

Renowned artist Yuken Teruya introduces the Notice-Forest Digital Twin works, a thought-provoking fusion of art, nature, and consumerism. Teruya demonstrates his skill by crafting delicate paper trees, each meticulously placed within discarded shopping bags from iconic brands such as Vuitton, Hermes, McDonald's and others. These paper bags serve as symbols of our relentless consumer culture and the detrimental impact of multinational corporations on our planet. In striking contrast, meticulously crafted paper trees symbolize the vulnerability and fragile ecosystem of nature.
An encounter with Hasegawa of FIKA catalyzed a remarkable shift towards the digital domain. SOU (FIKA) embarked on a year-long collaboration with the artist, giving birth to this 3D Project.
This new digital realm offers users to scale and interact with the artwork. They can transform them into houses or galleries, place them on serene beaches or within the heart of desolate deserts, and even ascend the virtual trees or strings, immersing themselves entirely in this captivating artwork. (The artwork is intended for placement within any metaverse, such as the Spatial.) The urgency of this project has never been more evident, as it confronts pressing global issues with artistic finesse. 
Yuken Teruya (Japan) is an artist based in Berlin and in New York. He works with various materials such as paper shopping bags, Monopoly paper money and butterfly chrysalises. His ideas often reflect politics, life, and history of Okinawa, his homeland. His work is included in the public collections of the British Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Guggenheim, New York; the Charles Saatchi Collection, London, among others.

FIKA represents a collaboration between a curator and a 3D creator. Hitomi Hasegawa, a curator and researcher holding a Ph.D.. SOU, a trailblazing 3D creator, studied 3D design  at the Mages Institute in Singapore.
