ステートメント:
主に1人にフォーカスした人物画を描く。
モチーフは武将や和服の女性、日本の神々など、日本のものが多いが、そこに現代の要素を絡め時代考証に拘らない表現を取り入れている。
描くスタイルの方向性は色のグラデーションを多く施したリアル寄りのものと、現代浮世絵ポップに似た線とベタ塗りに少しのグラデーションを加えた2通りのものがある。前者は新古典主義の質感に現代の感性を織り込んだ作風として『令和新古典主義』、後者は耽美主義のうちエログロやスプラッター表現を露骨に描くことを好まない作風として『ソフト耽美主義』のジャンルを掲げて確立を目指している。

幻冬舎様より画集を出版していただく予定。現在掲載作品を鋭意制作中。

Kanebo Make-up Institute,  Pan Make-up School 卒業 

北海道の大自然でのびのびと育つ。
世界は音で繋がっているという考えを元に空間に合わせたアートを表現する。
これまでにバルセロナ芸術文化センターEspronceda、サンタモニカ美術館、ロシア国立現代アートセンターNCCA、など世界各地のアーティストインレジデンスで制作発表を行っている。

Artist(Born in 1980 / Hokkaido / Based in Kyoto)  
Graduated from Kanebo Make-up Institute and Pan Make-up School. 

I grew up in the great nature of Hokkaido.
Based on the idea that the world is connected by sound, I expresses art that matches the space.
I have presented my works at various artist-in-residencies around the world, including Espronceda (Barcelona Art and Culture Center), Santa Monica Museum of Art, and NCCA (Russian National Center for Contemporary Art).

The world connected by sound and music links us.
Kaoru Shibuta translate musical notes into images and contemporary installations. In addition, through local culture and energy of atmosphere, he create a poetic symphony composed of images, colours and harmony, which is a perfect fusion between nature, music and art.
"If Mozart is the one who composes music to link the terrestrial world to the celestial world, I am the one who undertakes him to propagate it with my painting. If Beethoven composed to surpass philosophy,then I undertake to give them a shape with my paintings. J・S・Bach is the old testament Bible of the classical music."

Bom in Sendai in 1968. Self-taught, he picked up a brush at 25 and quickly gained popularity both in Japan and abroad. In 2001, after a long stretch in Tokyo playing drums for the Tokyo Rhythm Kings and getting his work published in a variety of magazines, he relocated back home to Sendai. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, he focused more on addressing socio-political themes in his work and also branched out to three-dimensional art. The most notable work is an authrized and signed tarpaulin handbag by Jane Birkin. He has presented his art works at the art fair in Japan and other countries such as Netherlands, Switzerland and U.S.A. in recent years.

「おんなのこ」をテーマに油絵具を用いて絵画制作をしています。  
おんなのこ・少女の『外面からは分かりえない内面や精神』をテーマに、 画面上で表現しようと日々試行錯誤しております。

出来事は曖昧だけれど、嫌だったことだけははっきりと覚えている。

素直に表現する ただ、心が喜ぶ時にいい表現がうまれる 自分を大切に 自分をたくさん喜ばせ ただ、楽しく描く ダンスの先生が絵を描く 体育の先生が絵を描く 子ども達の先生が絵を描く 私の表現の1つです 素直に楽しく、遊びながら。

経歴
20代は子ども達の運動指導者やダンスの先生をしており、身体、声、言葉で表現をしていました！！ 30代でふとした時に絵を描き始め、初めはSNSで描いた絵を載せていたら、 見た人が｢見ていて元気になる！｣｢これをＣＤジャケットに使わせて下さい！｣ などのご縁を頂いた事も。 私の事を知らない方が絵を見て何か感じている。 絵の表現の無限さを知り、心がワクワクしたのを覚えています。 自分でテーマを持って描く！ 自分が見えてるもの、迷いが無い素直さを持って描いています。
